Show your love for ocean conservation and scuba diving by attending the 2nd Annual PADI Womens Dive Day

Girls, whether you dive or snorkel, get your gear ready for an ocean social of salty proportions! It is once again time for the annual PADI Womens Dive Day. The girls had so much fun last year that it is on its way to becoming a tradition. Over 55 girls enjoyed the day last year with the focus being on the sport of scuba diving. Leave the men at home for this one because this is for all the girls. "Salty hair, don't care." This delightful dive day is set to take place at the Windjammer Beach Resort which is located at 4244 El Mar Drive, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Florida 33308.

Leading up to this latest event, attendees are invited to attend a kick-off party on Friday, July 15, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It will be held at the Coast Boutique, 222 Commercial Boulevard, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. Come to meet the SOS Dive Girls, learn about what is in store on Saturday and partake in free wine and cheese and a special gift.

SOS Girlie Dive Day will be a full morning of fun and festivities which will spill over into the early afternoon. Get there early to check out the SUP & Kayak Demos brought to you by Paddleboard of Florida and taking place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.. At 10:30 a.m., a shore dive will get underway which will be led by the Diveheart Ladies Adaptive Dive Team. This is another passionate group of women who make the lives of those with disabilities, from children to veterans, a whole new experience as they teach them to dive. After the dive is over, around 11:45 a.m., it is time to bond with the whole group as a photo is snapped telling the tale of a wonderful morning shared by women with that common love of the ocean. Each girlie diver who participates will receive a free Tote Bag filled with items donated by www.StokedOnSalt.com, Windjammer Resort, Force E Dive Shop, Coast Boutique, Reef Safe Suncare, By-The-Sea-Realty, Uzzi, PADI and more. Then, grab your tote and head for the pool area where the Force-E boys will already be grilling some grub to satisfy the ravenous appetites of the girls. It is time to chill & grill. There will also be live music provided by Pete & Ry's Excellent Adventure.
