Manly Nets Beach Clean and Dive Against Debris - our first and primary clean up activity will be the west-side of Manly wharf. We want your help to dive this site to pick up litter, as well as bringing friends and family to help clean up the sand and bush land around this site too! This will be a great family orientated (and kid friendly!) clean-up site with site supervisors being in-water and on-sand. We’ll be having a sausage sizzle and are asking for people to come along to help clean up the beach and water between 9am and noon. This supervised activity will be free (excl. equipment hire).

North Head Dive Against Debris - our boat will be running single dives in and around North Head all day and we would like your support in helping pick-up litter from there too! We’ll be departing from Little Manly at 9am, 11am, and 1pm – or doing an 11:15am Manly Wharf pick-up for those divers who want to help on the morning shore clean-up. Single boat dives are priced at $60 (excl. equipment hire) .

If you participate in a Dive for Debris on shore or on the boat we’ll be offering 50% off your gear hire.

Project AWARE Conservation Speciality - if you are working towards your Master Scuba Diver certification, and have an interest in the ocean, its wildlife, and conservation in general your involvement in the Dive Against Debris will count towards you Project AWARE conservation speciality – which can be one of your 5 specialities required in your Master Scuba Diver award. On top of your clean-up dives, you simply need to conduct a theory session, which we’ll host in our Manly shop and you’ll be one step closer to that MSD cert! The Project AWARE certification will cost $145 and will include any equipment required to complete the dive for debris.

Equipment Special Offers - as everyone likes a bargain if you want to stock up on knives, SMBs, gloves, lift bags, torches and anything else you need to help clean up our dive sites we’ll be offering a 10% discount for the weekend of the event. We’ll also be donating 10% of all relevant retail sales to the Project AWARE foundation.

Clean Up Australia Day is a great activity, and we are proud and honoured to be taking part and supporting the Manly community. If you’d like to join us on any of these dives please give us a call on 02 9999 390302 9999 3903 to secure your spot and help improve the ocean for all of us.
