Guests don spooky costumes and celebrate Halloween with Creatures of the Night. Presented through Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment, Creatures of the Night is offered nightly Thursday, October 25 through Saturday, October 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. and is $65 per person. Guests or the young at heart enjoy a unique treat for the senses with activities that include the Shadow Game, a Ghoulish Smell, Bump in the Night, Monster Madness, Let Me Pick Your Brain, and Candy Bar Taste Test.
Creatures of the Night is designed to enliven the five senses. The sense of sight is explored as guests try to identify shadows of different animals in the Shadow Game. In Ghoulish Smell, candied apples, chocolate bars, candy corn, and pumpkins are placed in a box for guests to identify by their smell. Testing the sense of hearing, sounds and songs are played and guests attempt to verify the animal noises, scary sound or spooky song in Bump in the Night. Let Me Pick Your Brain examines the sense of touch. Items like spaghetti (for brains) and grapes (for eyeballs) are placed in a box for guests to guess what they actually are. In the Candy Bar Taste Test, guests are blindfolded and presented with a series of Halloween treats (candy corn, Baby Ruth bar, gummy worms) and are asked to identify each one by its taste.
