Dive Against Debris Beach Cleanup at Davenport Park, New Rochelle Sept. 17, 2011

The Scuba Sports Club will be at Davenport Park in New Rochelle, New York performing a beach cleanup on September 17, 2011, International Beach Cleanup Day. The beach cleanup is sponsored by Project Aware's "Dive Against Debris" ocean conservation project.

Every year around the world millions of volunteers participate in beach cleanups celebrating International Beach Cleanup Day. This has been an annual event for The Scuba Sports Club in our effort to cleanup the Long Island Sound. We believe together our actions will make a huge impact helping to rescue the Long Island Sound and all the oceans in the world.

Scuba divers, beach comers and kayakers are welcome to join us for a day dedicated to preserving our coast by removing marine debris along the banks of Long Island Sound.
