Heroes of Planet Earth (H.O.P.E.) Sunabe Seawall Clean-up

Active duty United States Service Members, civilians, and local community members joined forces to conduct a Heroes of Planet Earth (H.O.P.E) seawall cleanup and Dive Against Debris Survey on 10 April 2013 at Chatan-cho, Okinawa, Japan.  Approximately 50 pounds of solid waste from the seawall and 30 pounds of solid waste from the coral reef were collected during the event hosted by USMC Camps Foster and Lester celebrating Earth Day and Tomodachi (Friendship) Days.  Additional details at:  http://www.mcipac.marines.mil/News/NewsArticleDisplay/tabid/1144/Article/141102/service-members-volunteer-time-at-tomo-days-festivities-cleanups.aspx
