The practical aspect of this course consists of 2 ocean dives on the beautiful reefs around Lembongan and Penida. On these dives students will set out survey transects and use the Coral Watch Coral Health Charts to collect data.

Back at the dive center the data is uploaded onto the Coral Watch database as part of a long-term coral monitoring project for reefs around the world.
