DEEPWAVE present a photographic exhibition

THE SHARK...

... has the reputation in modern society of being a killer, an underwater murder machine, a result too, of pretty explicit material emanating from Hollywood. However many native societies have, in contrast to industrial states, always accepted sharks and even revered them. Today we know that their reputation of being ocean slaughterers is not deserved. On the contrary, we know about their importance for ocean species, their functions and tasks.

We, at the German Marine conservationists "DEEPWAVE", would like to acquaint you closer with these fascinating ocean dwellers, with an amazing presentation of underwater photographs from the collection of the well known underwater photographers Angelika Honsbeek and Klaus Jost. With this presentation we wish to create and encourage awareness for the necessity of protecting and conserving these threatened hunters.

Conserve the oceans - we are doing our best!

With best regards
