Island team clean up their beautiful ocean office!

Downbelow’s efforts for environmental preservation are a common passion and awareness among the team!

Our beautiful location at Gaya Island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park needs maintenance, particularly when marine debris is washed on to the shores from time to time.

Kota Kinabalu City is less than ten minutes away by speedboat and the urban development is growing rapidly, so the waste found underwater or on the islands increases too.

Rainstorms with strong winds are typical of tropical countries, such as Malaysia, and this contributes to the pollution.

Despite the effect man and weather have on our environment, we maintain our fight for the aquatic world!

Our premier PADI 5 Star IDC dive centre involve everyone, staff as well as clients, to develop awareness and continue protecting our beautiful ocean office!

PADI courses and programs include caring for the environment as a performance requirement too!

We appreciate all our clients, our staff and nature enthusiasts for their support!
