Clean Up Australia Day hits Point Walter, Bicton

updates

On Sunday 4th March 2012 a group of Perth Scuba volunteers banded together to clean up the Point Walter Reserve (both above & below the water!) for Clean Up Australia Day.

Thank you to all of our fantastic volunteers who put in the hard yards to make Point Walter a pristine park above & below the water line!

Special Thanks go to:

Greg Thomms: For being our Dive Master extraordinaire on the day.

Geraldine & Callen Pereira: For cooking an awesome BBQ lunch.

Nathan Potts: For leading a group of young girls on a gloomy dive – and coming back with ALL OF THEM!

Jake Thomms: For a very green GoPro video of the underwater activities.

The Penrhos Girls: For showing that the next generation cares about our environment as well us old folk!

Christa Cowen: For organising the girls to help the clean up efforts.
