Pure Scuba will be hosting a clean up event at the main wharf (T Wharf) in Batemans Bay on Sunday the 14th of September as part of the Project Aware Debris month of action. This years event will be held in conjunction with the Eurobodalla Shire Council Marine Debris working group. We need divers and volunteers to help on the surface as well.
We will be meeting at the store at 10 am and are planning to put divers in the water around 12 pm on the slack tide if conditions permit.

USING THE SCOUTING INITIATIVE TO ESTABLISH RECORD BASELINE DATA OF MANGROVE AND MARINE PROTECTED AREAS ECOSYSTEMS. TRANSLATE RAW DATA INTO SCIENTIFIC ARCHIVES. PRESERVATION AND ENSURE CONSERVATION ENFORCEMENT OF THREATENED HABITATS. TO CATALOGUE RESIDENT SPECIES EXSISTING IN THE ECOSYSTEM AND REHABILITATE AS COMMUNITY MARINE CREEK PRESERVE AREAS.

We are on a boat charter leaving Buenaventura at August 15th, Friday night, traveling 10 hours to reach Isla Gorgona, on Saturday morning. We are running several diving education courses during the trip: Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue and Divemaster. and also fun dives.
