On Sunday 11th May 2014, Blue Corner Dive will be holding a Dive Against Debris at our house reef, Pontoon. This dive site receives a lot of visitor traffic and a number of big vessels have mooring locations close by, for this reason much rubbish and debris can be found here. Our aim will be to complete a 50 minute dive with the objective soley based on rubbish collection. All debris collected will be weighed, sorted, reported and disposed of and the results will be submitted to Project AWARE online.

Divers Down Dubai are arranging swimming challenges, activities, raffles and shark conservation information stands for both kids and athletes. The Finathon will be open for different ages and abilities to raise much needed funds to save these apex predators.
We are calling on divers, instructors, families, club members, guests and schools to join our Finathon and be champions for sharks. It’s a fun, healthy way to raise awareness for this important cause.
There are prizes for outstanding fundraising, distances achieved and more!
Crystal Diver's IDC Candidates; Jim Sheward, Jus Singleton, Javi Fulli, Lars Christensen, David McKinley, Danielle Middleton, Julien Rabineau & Kimura Takuya spent their day cleaning tidying up their underwater office in Sanur, Bali. Wadi Lahami is our most southern village, located 393km south of Hurghada Airport and 180km south of Marsa Alam Airport. It is well off the beaten track and located on the doorstep of the famous Fury Shoals. It is the ideal location for anyone looking for top quality diving along with privacy and seclusion, and a proximity to nature.
This event is not that BIG event, this is merely just couple of friends traveling together to the Komodo National Park, and instead of just enjoying the beautiful sceneries - above and underwater -, we also take the responsibility in keeping it as beautiful as it can be.
So on every tour we go and in every dive we make, we will collect any trash we see and record the data.
If you are happen to be in the area in the exact time, whether it is only on the 11th or 13th or 15th, you are most welcome to join.
Let's, together, protect our ocean planet.
We care, we act, we conserve. MORE
