Come and join our Dive Against Debris on March 3 to 4, 2012. It's the end of rainy season in Western Indonesia region and as usual, the Thousand Islands area of Jakarta will be packed of marine debris.

It's our regular one-day dive trip combined with Coral Watch and underwater cleanup activities.

We will be specifically conducting observation on the development of crown of thornes around the Karang Lebar area of Pulau Semak Daun. If the presence of COTs increased significantly, we will remove them to avoid further expansion and threat of coral bleaching.

As usual, we will collect underwater debris in every dive. Let's make our underwater planet cleaner and join the Aware Scavenger Hunt game :)

High/Scope Mums & Kids Goes To Pulau Seribu

A Project AWARE Kids program organized by Banyu Biru Explorers will be conducted on June 19 – 20, 2011 at the Kepulauan Seribu area of Jakarta Bay.

Activities involved will be beach cleanup, mangrove and reef planting, and turtle conservation.

The event will collaborate parents and their children in doing ocean conservation and to raise awareness towards the importance of a clean ocean and shoreline, how to preserve our shorelines and conserving the sea turtles.

Let’s clean our ocean!
