Join Sunken Treasure Scuba Center, Clinton County Cleanscapes and other partners for a highly rewarding event. This event need divers, boaters, kayakers and land people to help on shore. This cleanup should be the last cleanup on the northern most corner of the Great Island.

Join Sunken Treasure Scuba Center, Clinton County Cleanscapes and other partners for a highly rewarding event.  This event need divers, boaters, kayakers and land people to help on shore.  The cleanup takes place from the village of Farrandsville to the Jay Street Bridge.  Litter will be collected both above and below water and everyone can help.

We need people to take pictures of all the hard work.

Bass/Flat Bottom Boat Owners with operators are needed to transport collected debris

In an effort to clean up the debris and garbage from the devastation of last September’s Tropical Storm Lee and Hurricane Irene as well as the ongoing problem of illegal dumping, North Branch Land Trust, Endless Mountains Heritage Region, Pennsylvania Environmental Council, North Branch Water Trail, and Paddle Without Pollution are joining efforts to organize the first paddling cleanup of the waterway and islands in the Laceyville and Tunkhannock areas of the Susquehanna River.

The aquatic environment needs our help.  As divers, we see first hand the damage done to underwater environments.  As a result, we are one of the best tools to help repair our waterways.
If you don’t dive, we also need people to help work the shoreline, collect data and take photos. Lunch will be provided.

Time to head down to our local dive site and clean it up. This is one of the first sites divers dive and we want to keep it looking good for those seeing it for their first time.  July's dive will focus from the island across from Lock Haven University down to Jay Street Bridge.

Yes, it’s time to rally the troops, head down to our local dive site and clean it up. This is a first time cleanup at the Greevy Boat Launch, so we don't know what we'll find.
