You can make a difference for the ocean by donating your underwater photos to ZenWave Gallery. Launched last year, the ZenWave goal is to drive social and community change through the sale of amazing photos.  All proceeds raised through the sale of photos support good causes including ocean conservation and Project AWARE.

“I'm Buddhist, a keen amateur photographer and I love to travel.  Through ZenWave I've decided to combine these passions to try and give something back to the amazing places that have given me so much inspiration,” said founder Mark Turner.

A big thanks to Austin Williams for raising over $2,000 through the sale of his funky t-shirt designs. Austin combines his creativity and passion for the ocean to create unique humorous t-shirts with a serious message.

Dive T-Shirts supports Project AWARE’s Mantas at Risk Campaign and this month’s favourite tee is ‘What Manta?’ said Austin.

On the eve of the Olympics Opening Ceremony, let's celebrate scuba divers who RUN! Sarah Mayers, a Brisbane Divemaster and Andy Wellsted, Course Director and Manager of Tangalooma Dive on Moreton Island are taking on the Brisbane to Bridge Challenge this September.

Sarah’s been busy educating her work colleagues about the wonders of scuba diving and the need to protect the ocean.  She’s passionate about making more people aware and hopes they will spread the word and contribute to the cause.

On Sunday 15th July, divers from Diving Leisure London (DLL) swapped their fins for trainers to support marine conservation as part of one of their popular dive club events.

In a bid to raise critical funds to support Project AWARE's Sharks in Peril and Marine Debris campaigns, Jennifer and Alex Griffin together with a team of seven divers took on the challenge to complete 90K.

"As divers, we thought it would be great to do a DLL club event to raise money for Project AWARE” said Jennifer Griffin who organised the event.
