Pure Scuba will be hosting a clean up event at the main wharf (T Wharf) in Batemans Bay on Sunday the 14th of September as part of the Project Aware Debris month of action. This years event will be held in conjunction with the Eurobodalla Shire Council Marine Debris working group. We need divers and volunteers to help on the surface as well.
We will be meeting at the store at 10 am and are planning to put divers in the water around 12 pm on the slack tide if conditions permit.
As we go into a more rainy period of the year, we would like to take this opportunity to spend more time with everyone around us. To try and educate them in the effects of shark finning and also to put a light what is really happening around us.
Join us for this presenation on our boat. We will try to do the dives on those places we most often see the sharks. Then as we head back home, we will talk through todays sightings and the effects we humans have on them.
Coral Bud Planting... in association with the Boracay Association of Scuba Schools (B.A.S.S.) - dive for FREE!
Come and take part with this amazing opportunity to help us plant some healthy coral buds on some lifeless reef areas, to help bring dead reefs back to life, and give reef fish a new home to thrive on.... preceded by a short presentation on Coral Reef Conservation.
