Sea and Sand Cleanup at John U. Lloyd Park

Volunteers will scour the sand, dunes, and sea floor for debris harmful to marine life.  In conjunction with Memorial Hospital staff and Divers Direct, Fathom Five Scuba divers and volunteer divers from South Florida Beach Divers will celebrate Earth Day 2014 by preserving a pristine habitat.  Sea turtles beginning to come ashore to deposit their eggs are especially vulnerable to trash that floats ashore or is left by beachgoers.
