MORE

Due to the fact that our reefs are in an MPA and we have no rivers closer than 80Km from the reefs we have little or no debris on our reefs. We will be doing a beach cleanup especially for floting plastic debris that washes up on the beach.

I am organizing this event through a club I co-sponsor, the Brevard Community College's Palm Bay Campus Environmental Club and their Service Learning Project: Save Our Seas (S.O.S.). Although we will have a group of students with us, we certainly want as many people to book with the shop on their own as possible.

Underwater Sports of Federal Way is going to break in the New Year with a Beach Clean Up at Redondo Beach in Federal Way, WA. This site, which is loved by many, is often dove by divers new and experienced. Here is our chance to give back to the site that brings us new divers, new experiences and to the businesses that tolerate our love for the water! We will be meeting at Underwater Sports in Federal Way at Noon on January 1st, 2012 and carpooling over to the beach. This will be a beach clean-up so there will be no need for dive equipment, unless you choose to dive afterwards.
