Our third underwater clean up around Falmouth. Castle Beach is located at the north west corner of the bay. Debris gets blown in on a south easterly wind but doesn't get blown out again. On recent visits we have removed lots of plastic bags from the area but it will need more divers to do an effective job.
So come along and meet some local divers to do something worthwhile underwater.

Dive Against debris month of September has started and we are in full swing. Amarilla Divers is again collecting ALL rubbish from ALL dive sites visited during the month of September. We will then be registering all the rubbish on the Project AWARE site.
Please come and join in and help us clean our oceans.
The previous month of May was excellent and we collected mountains of rubbish, we hope we can do better this month.
Although we are continuously collecting rubbish, we are also finding more and more. It is a never ending job and one that we feel is important.
Calling all divers, snorkellers & beach combers, we need you! The ocean needs you!
Come along for a few hours one Spring sunday to collect debris from the ocean and from the beach before it ends up in the ocean!
Whether you can dive or not, we need your capable hands and willingness for a better planet.
Divers need a minimum of Open Water Certification to be able to participate. Please bring your own gear inc. tanks. A mesh bag is most ideal for collecting rubbish. Dive gloves are a must as part of your kit.
