I am organizing this event through a club I co-sponsor, the Brevard Community College's Palm Bay Campus Environmental Club and their Service Learning Project: Save Our Seas (S.O.S.). Although we will have a group of students with us, we certainly want as many people to book with the shop on their own as possible.
Huron Scuba Dive Team will DIVE AGAINST DEBRIS from 8AM until approximately 2PM. We are surveying the rubbish that has made its way into the Huron River in an effort to reduce the amount of debris that makes its way to the ocean. The water is 6-10 feet deep in this section of the river. Drysuits are not required. The Canoe Livery has been generous enough to offer us their meeting room to get out of the cold between dives. The current is not strong in the area we will be diving as it is blocked by small islands.
DIVE AGAINST DEBRIS!! Meet at World Diving Lembongan at 2.30pm to join our underwater dive against debris on Lembongan House Reef. We will go out on our big boat with clean up bags, lift bags and bags of enthusiasm to clean up the reef.
