Global Vision International (GVI) Fiji’s Marine Research and Conservation Project aims to conduct research that will facilitate long term benefits to the local communities of the Yasawas and help guarantee food security for future generations.

The program is designed to empower communities by providing education and assistance in the facilitation of  locally managed marine protected areas (MPAs) whilst also enabling communities to gain official national recognition of these MPAs .
