This month (February 2013) I celebrate my 41st year in diving.  Lots has changed in that time, both to me and to the Pacific Ocean I love.   These days I call Monterey Bay home, and I'm happy to say that, in no small part due to the diving community, the Bay is once again home to a thriving and healthy kelp forest community.  That's not to say there's not work to be done and improvements to make.  Together, we can make it happen.
