My Summary

Because the ocean all over the world is worst than a million of garbage can….

In 2008 I create the Clean Garbage Project (CGP), using art (installations trough collective interventions, sculptures, paintings, photos, videos, writings ) to create conciseness in kids and general public related with our footprints in the earth because we don’t recycle, focusing the attention in find ways to pressure  the Colombian Government to make mandatory the recycling subject in the academic school program in Colombia, idea and proposal that was sent to United Nations to be divulged all over the world, due to a petition from a member of United Nations.  I think more than 50.000 people in Colombia and another countries, had received the message trough more than 70 activities.

The Museum of Contemporary Art in Bogotá (Colombia ) has been one of the principal partners; important collective interventions as in Bogotá at National Museum of Colombia and Botanic Garden, Universities all over Colombia, National and International events, had given me the encourage to keep going, been my aim next year to achieve the goal to make mandatory the recycling subject in Colombia, and keep going with the proposal to UN.  CGP activities has been included as part of the Earth Day Network since the beginning and part of World Water Day since 20011.

I’m visual art with exhibitions in 25 countries, been my former profession International Consultant of Board of directors as Director of Projects principally in Big companies.

Looking for people interested in joining efforts I found the Project Aware Foundation to spread out all over this effort.  If you are interested please contact me
