My husband Stephen and I learnt to dive so that we could find the Splendid Mandarin fish. We did find it eventually in Palau. Since then we've dived the Great Barrier Reef, the Similan Island (off the coast of Thailand) and next November we're booked to dive Raja Amput, Indonesia. I love diving because it's a wonderful way to connect with the beauty of this earth, as a sport you don't have to be sporty and the people we've met along the way are, on the whole, delightful.
