Elissa Sursara is an environmental scientist, diver and correspondent working on behalf of endangered species, threatened habitats and all animals in crisis. She works with some of the world's top environmental organisations. Elissa is a member on the Board of Advisors for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and an ambassador for the WWF's Earth Hour and Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors and others.

Elissa interacts with followers on Twitter and Facebook and shares field and campaign footage on YouTube as part of her Conservation Diaries.
She donned her first wetsuit at fourteen and has clocked hundreds of dives across an impressive career in the environmental field in more than twenty-five locations, including the Arctic.
