Elissa Sursara is an environmental scientist, diver and correspondent working on behalf of endangered species, threatened habitats and all animals in crisis. She works with some of the world's top environmental organisations. Elissa is an ambassador for the WWF's Earth Hour, 1% for the Planet, and Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors and others. Elissa formerly contributed to the National Geographic and at present, writes about environmental issues for the Huffington Post.

Elissa interacts with followers on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and shares field and campaign footage on YouTube.
She donned her first wetsuit at fourteen and has clocked hundreds of dives across an impressive career in the environmental field in more than fifteen locations, including the Antarctic.
