Diving professionally since 2006, I have worked mainly in the Caribbean for the last 6 years. I am now the manager of Mike's Dive Store in Bristol.
I have been very proactive in educating people reagrding the invasive Lionfish in the Caribbean. In January 2009, I help the Cayman Islands Department of Environment catch the first Lionfish on Grand Cayman. In June 2009, I caught the first Lionfish in Honduras. Following this I did presentations for the Roatan Marine Park and Utila centre for Marine Ecology to help educate the local community and divers about the problems the lionfish cause and how best to catch them.
In April 2011, I organised a reef clean up on the Wreck of the Cali in Grand Cayman
In October 2012, I arranged for a fundraiser at Mike's Dive Store, to help raise funds crucial to Project AWARE's work.
