Well Done Team

Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant. The nets are finally all up.

Huge thanks to Wilna, Mark, Jake, Helen, Brians, Paul, Capatin Ali, Saadiri, Kyle.

Also huge thanks to the National Newspaper who came down to cover the event and film ther event.

25th February Clean Up

Just a quick reminder 25th February we are running the second 'Dive Against Debris" for the year.

If you are free please call the Dive Centre to confirm your place - 04 426 3000. January we managed to bring lots of nets up and also had a great day out on the boat.

We will be meeting at the Dive Centre at 8am and plan to return to the DC at around 2pm. There is a charge of AED 100 and if you would like EANX please let us know in advance. EANX is free.

Atlantis Dive Centre - First Clean Up 2012

HUGE HUGE thanks to everyone who volunteered their time to come and remove the fishing nets.

We found 3 nets in the end. All of about 100m in length. It was a great effort by everyone and huge thanks to Captain Ali from World Security who allerted us to the problem.

Clean Up Arabia - Palm Jumeirah

A massive thanks to everyone who joined us yesterday for the Clean up Arabia. We could not have asked for a better day.

Weather was perfect, sea flat, visibility great and great people on the boats. such a lot of fun.

Huge thanks must go to Captain Ali who brought 3 of Dubai secuity boats, complete with flashing lights. I noticed other boats kept their distance and his crew worked like trooopers.

SMB is covered in another net

November 18th in partnership with EDA "Arabian Clean UP" and Project Aware. Atlantis Dive Centre is planning to remove the huge net that has again covered the SMB.

Please contact the Dive Centre 04 4263000 if you would loike to join in the clean up.

Please bring gloves and cutting tools.

BIG THANKS

Thank you to everyone who came and volunteered their time and donated to Project Aware today.

It was a great day and was very pleased we were able to clean up two dive sites the SMB and the A300.

Big thanks and all the data will be sent to Project Aware.

Saturdays 24th - Clean up

This Saturday is our Debris Clean up. We are going to be very busy, we have been asked if we can go to Hamriya as there are tones of debris to be surfaced.

We have a skip being ordered so please bring gloves and cutting tools.

Max depth will be 6 - 8 metres

Monday 15th August. I had the choice of either working or doing a clean up. After no though what so ever Captain Ali, Enrique and myself were on the boat heading to the break water of the Palm Diera. We did quite well for only 3 divers.

Zainab Clean UP

What a great day.

Huge Huge thanks to: Captain Ali, Enrique, Lucy, Paul, Gavin, Chantel, William, Mark, Shaun, Leo. Who all donated money to Project Aware and also gave up their day to remove the massive net from the wreck.

Honestly I did not think we would get it all done in one day. But the guys worked so hard and had a lot of fun at the same time. Lots of laughs from the moment we all got on the boat.
