Just Add Water collects shark petition signatures at "I Hate Winter" party!

All of us at Just Add Water have signed the shark petition. Our customers are able to sign the shark petition online at our store anytime. We had a great turn-out for our "I Hate Winter" party on March 3rd and many of our local divers signed the petition while enjoying great food, great music and a fun time!

Project AWARE Certifications Contest Winner

Congratulations to Julian Peskin, PADI MSDT, winner of Just Add Water's Project AWARE Instructor Challenge. During 2011, Just Add Water instructors were challenged to promote the PADI Project AWARE certification cards to their students. Julian's student divers upgraded their c-cards 21 times, donating more than $500 to Project AWARE. Julian won a new AquaLung Suunto D6 dive computer !!

Project Aware 1% Challenge Grand Prize Winner

Congratulations to Chip Moll, the grand prize winner of Just Add Water's Project Aware 1% Challenge. Chip made his winning donation to Project Aware on March 5, 2011 ... and won the Grand Prize in our drawing at the Just Add Water Holiday Party on December 4th ... a JVC Digital Video Camcorder, Ikelite Underwater Housing & Ikelite Underwater Video Light system valued at $760 !!

Project AWARE Certifications contest

During 2011, our dive store Just Add Water challenged our instructors to promote Project AWARE to their student divers and encourage them to make a donation to upgrade their standard PADI c-card to a Project AWARE c-card. To motivate our instructors, we are donating a brand new AquaLung Suunto D6 dive computer to the instructor who gets the most Project AWARE c-cards !! Stay tuned ... winner to be announced at our annual Holiday Party on December 4th.

Just Add Water Project Aware 1% Challenge

During 2011, we have been asking all our customers to consider donating 1% of their purchases at Just Add Water to Project Aware. We're not done yet, but we've raised nearly $750 for Project Aware just through our store. What if every dive store did this ??

White Star Quarry Project Aware Clean Up Day - November 12, 2011

We all had a great time at the White Star Clean Up Day last Saturday. About 2 dozen divers participated in helping clean up White Star and bring in the marker buoys for the winter. We had 60 degrees & sunny with water temps of 55 degrees ... a perfect fall day !! Everyone enjoyed the burgers, dogs, chowder, hot chocolate & door prizes that added fun to this event.
