Oh hello~ I'm from my beloved Chesapeake bay area, and proud of it. I enjoy strange music and am an avid shark angels member. I love the ocean (I used to sit in a bathtub for hours when I was little, hoping I'd grow a mermaid tail) and love skindiving. Though I burn in the sun easily (Let's be honest, I'm allergic- my skin blisters and bleeds within a few hours) I couldn't be happier at the beach or in the ocean. I'm an active volunteer for Sea Shepherds, and look forward to the next ship that I can be on constantly :)

Save Captain Paul Watson!

As I write this, Captain Paul Watson remains in jail. He has been imprisoned for crimes he did not commit. You can see clearly in the video I have posted that he did not do the crimes he is imprisoned for. This man is a hero, one who faces a death sentence.

We need to act- now! We need to DO something to save our captain, a man who has saved countless lives of marine life, thus making powerful enemies. Anyone can make a difference here. This is a call to action!

Save Captain Watson!

The leader and founder of Sea Shepherd, prominent direct action group for the conservation of marine life, was arrested in Germany on Sunday, May 12, 2012 for extradition to Costa Rica. We have only hours before he faces extradition to Costa Rica for something that happened in 2012.

Landlocked- Pollution!

So I was thinking... I may be landlocked against my will, but who says I still can't do something? I was thinking about rivers- the rivers that go into the ocean.

Even if you live in a landlocked state, I want to encourage people to think- are you still in a watershed? Where do your rivers go? I know that though I may spend most of my time in West VIrginia, we are part of the watershed to my beloved Chesapeake bay. We can still clean up the rivers and care for the oceans even if we are stranded far from the shore.

Landlocked.

I'm landlocked. Why? Because I'm in West Virginia. If you don't know me already, I'm Anna, and I go to boarding school in West Virginia, though I'm from the beautiful Fredericksburg area.

Help me find my fins!

People don't seem to care in places like West Virginia, thinking that they can't be contributing in a landlocked state. If you're in West Virginia, hit me up and tell me if you have some action you want me to get into! I have a group of dedicated members at my boarding school who are more than happy to help.
