I was finally certified in San Fernando, La Union, Philippines in December of 2011. I tried to get certified in 1984 with the Winnipeg Goldeyes. It was a 9 month ACUC course 3 nights per week and I got side tracked taking flying lessons.

I worked as a commercial pilot flying seaplanes in Canada's north country on and off for 20 years. I also did some aircraft salvage.

Now I work a rotational job in South East Asia. It is 30 days on and 30 off which leaves me some quality time for travelling. I'm hoping to increase my experience diving in the next year to the point where I can check out an old PBY wreck I discoved in a cold lake up north.
