Scuba Cat Diving, Phuket, Thailand, a British owned Dive Center, is an award winning 5 * PADI CDC Center and has been a 5 * PADI IDC center for more than a decade. We teach all levels of PADI Scuba Diving Courses, have a dedicated boat for Scuba Diving Day Trips to the best Scuba dive sites around Phuket and Koh Phi Phi Island, Thailand.

A liveaboard year round in the Similans, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock and all the best Scuba Diving sites in the Andaman Sea, Phi Phi, Koh Ha and Hin Daengas well as the only half day diving boat in Phuket.

Earth day clean up of Koh Pu, Kata Beach

On April 22nd 2013 Scuba Cat diving joined together with Go Eco Phuket to do a beach, reef and island clean up at Kata.

The divers and non divers met at 8:30am at the north end of Kata beach and were split into 3 groups. The non divers doing the beach clean up, the divers doing the reef clean up from the shore and the divers joining MV Scuba Sport on the clean up of the island of Koh Pu just of the headland of Kata.

17th June 2012 Dive against Debris in Phuket

Our 5th Anniversary Celebration continues with an Underwater Cleanup at Racha Yai Island followed by a BBQ back at the Scuba Cat Shop.

The date was chosen as it marks the end of this years Reef Check Charter also at Racha Yai with the students from Concordia International School, Shanghai China.

The students have monitored the Reef at Racha Yai over the past 5 years ,submitting the date to Reef Check directly.

Dive Against Debris Weekend Sept 24 & 25 2011

As with every previous year Scuba Cat organised a 'Clean Up' weekend at Racha Yai on the last weekend of the September.

Reef surveys continue at Racha Yai Island

The international School in Shanghai, China joined Scuba Cat again this June to continue their 5 year study of the reefs on Racha Yai Island.

With their co-ordinator Terry and team of instructors, 10 students from the school came to Thailand and boarded MV Scuba Cat for 9 days of intensive training and surveying.

Earth Day Clean up

On April 24th Scuba Cat arranged an underwater clean up in conjunction with Earth day. We decided this year to clean Paradise Reef in Patong bay rather than Racha Yai as in previous years.

On the day itself we had 11 volunteer divers and 3 snorklers involved in the project. we used MV Scuba Adventure as our base for the day and set out to complete the two dives. The reef itself is small but has alot of marine life, but is unfortunately used by fishermen who leave lines and nets in the water.
