I received my Open Water certification in July 2011. Did my certification dives in the St. Lawrence River near the wreck of the "Islander" (a sidewheel steamer that went down in 1909). Haven't done any diving since then but have been buying equipment so I don't have to rent it.
My bucket list includes swimming with a whale shark and mantas.
