I became I certified diver in 2007 in Thailand where I completed my Open Water and Advanced certificates on the same holiday and had I not been dragged home by my friend to finish my Physiotherapy degree in the UK I think I would have stayed on to become a professional diver.

Four years later after deciding that I was at my happiest under the water I came to Mexico to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and it's the best decision I've ever made.  When I got my job I couldn't believe how lucky I was that someone wanted to pay me to do one of the most amazing things in the world and taking out my first DSD and sharing my passion and excitment with them for the underwater world was awesome!

I hope that through my love for the oceans and my new career that I can make a positive difference for the future of our seas :)
