Three months after becoming OW certified in 2005 I was diagnosed with cancer.  Due to side effects of one of the chemo drugs I was unable to dive again until 2007.  Wanting to dive kept me pushing myself to get better.  I became AOW certified in 2007 and now continue to work on my diving skills. 

All of the creatures living in our oceans play an important part of life.  They all have their functions without mankind trying to remove what they feel is harmful to us.  Sharks are amazing creatures.  Coral reefs are detrimental to all of the underwater creatures survival.  We need to strive to find ways to protect our underwater friends.
