The Sunshine Divemasters in Training (DMT's) along with several guest divers took part in the Marine Debri - Underwater clean-up on Koh Tao - this time cleaning the Bay of Chalok.

On the 29th September 2012, 5 Fun Divers plus 4 Sunshine Instructors took part in Koh Tao`s monthly underwater clean up.

On the morning of the 29th we made our way to Mango Bay, the chosen site for this months Clean Up.

After a 50min Dive and a 20min Sort through and Data collecting we can say that together as a team we managed to retrieve 5kg of rubbish out of the ocean.

This clean up there were no "strangest items retrieved", thought the closest would be all the kitchen utensiles we recovered, such as spoons, forks, plates, bowls etc.

Here at Sunshine Dive Resort we believe that being "AWARE" & learning how to `make a difference`is just as important as any other aspect of the Dive Master Trainee programme, not only do we learn about our underwater enviroment but we also learn how to look after, care & maintain the coral reefs in order for the ocean`s eco system to remain in balance.
