- My Summary
I am a PADI Staff Instructor in Ft Myers Florida, working at Dean's Dive Center, a 5 star Instructor Development Center. I earned my Open Water Cert in 1992 while serving as a Marine in Hawaii. This is when I first realized the impact of littering. After the military I became a commerical diver in the Gulf of Mexico for about 2 years then decided that was not the life for me. I became a Divemaster in 98 and then left the dive industry for nearly ten years until 2007 when I found myself looking for work. Commercial diving inland proved to be very hit and miss, and I ended up diving for golf balls. This turned out to be very profitable for me and good for the enviroment as well. It also put me in the dive shop on a daily basis, so in 2008 I became an instructor and have not looked back since. The people I have met and worked with have enriched my life beyond measure.
