World Diving Lembongan is a 5 Star PADI Dive Centre based on the wonderful island of Nusa Lembongan. We offer world class diving around Nusa Lembongan, Ceningan and Nusa Penida.

The centre is owned by John Chapman and Sue Beebe and has a team of 5 fantastic, local divemasters and one instructor - Sarah Wormald. Throughout all of the dive trips and courses we offer we try to teach about preserving the aquatic world and our eco minded instructor Sarah is always helping us to implement new ways of helping to protect the ocean that we all love to explore! We believe that if we all make an effort, we can make a difference! The centre was established in 1998 by Mark Micklefield and Shirley Mulligan. They started a tradition of excellence which has continued to the present day under the direction of Sue Beebe and John Chapman. House Reef Lembongan Clean Up!

Postponed With Sadness: Dive For Debris

World Diving Lembongan’s Dive for Debris on the 21stSeptember sadly had to be cancelled following a boating accident on the reef around Nusa Lembongan in the early hours of the morning. World Diving staff and boats were out all day assisting with rescue and recovery efforts close to the House Reef. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to the survivors and the friends and families of all involved in this terrible tragedy.

World Diving Lembongan Certify Students in Manta Ray Awareness Diver Specialty

PADI Instructor, Sarah Wormald recently certified her first students as Manta Ray Awareness Divers. The PADI Distinctive Specialty written by Sarah teaches divers about manta feeding, cleaning and breeding but Sarah also chose to develop a large section of the course specifically on manta conservation.

Diving Guides incorporate eco philosophy

World Diving Lembongan, Indonesia has created their very own “World Diving Student Course Guides” which include Project AWARE’s Ten Ways a Diver Can Protect the Underwater Environment. The idea of the guide is to give students some basic information about their PADI course, a personalised timetable of their course and information on protecting the ocean.

Making Every Dive a Clean-Up Dive!

As part of World Diving Lembongan's efforts to combat marine debris we have decided to make it super easy for divers to record what they are collecting from our ocean. As well as offering divers clean up bags to take along on their dive we have a data collection chart displayed in our dive center which allows divers to simply tally up what they collected. At the end of each month we will then send in the data to Project Aware! Hopefully divers will be inspired to pick up even more trash and our dive sites will be even better!
