In the past 30 years, we have consumed 30% of Earth’s natural resources. 99% of raw materials are discarded within 6 months by various means of being burned, buried, or tossed into the oceans. Project AWARE work hard to get divers more involved in protecting our oceans from this and many other issues facing our seas.

As a diver or prospective diver the sea holds a magnificent spell and to many it brings a sense of responsibility. Yu Divers encourage good bouyancy and good trim. Getting the basics right and mastering the skills required to make a competent and safe diver lay the foundation for a lifetime of fantastic underwater experiences. Interacting gently with aquatic life and with minimal affect to their surroundings as they glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover, almost as if by thought.

Yu raises money for both Project AWARE and Maldives Whale Shark Research Program who work together with worldwide organisations to understand this magnificent fish better and prevent their extinction.
