I will be doing my ice bucket challange for Project Aware to help raise money for sharks and their habitat.
This is a cause close to my heart as Im lucky enough to be a diver and get up close and personal with sharks. But it is also a cause which affects everyone, with no ocean habitat left there will be no world as we know it.
Do something for everything and everyone who shares this planet with us, donate or raise money for a cause which effects us all.
The Environmental Sanitation and Health Division encompasses a very wide range of issues relating to environmental health. This division is responsible for water- from bathing beach testing and semi-public and public swimming pool compliance inspections to information on drinking water and storm water and flooding. This division deals with pest issues including rodents, mosquitoes, ticks and other wildlife. Air and noise pollution complaints are investigated by our sanitarians, along with the air-related issues of asbestos, radon and mold.
Our monthly reef cleanup dive! Join us, the more the merrier. We'll do two dives and have lunch on the boat in between. Cost (of fuel only) are shared between all participants - no charge for the dives itself.
Dive against Debris - come and join us as we head out to Lembongan Bay to clean-up!! I will be hosting this event and there will be a briefing before hand and the opportunity to join a lift bagging workshop for those who are interested - it's a great intro to those thinking about doing their Search and Recovery Adventure dive of specialty!
Come and join us and help make a difference on your holiday!
Welcome to take part in a great day. We'll be having music, an artist doing a special art work together with volunteers of all the trash we find, and of course we will tell to everyone coming and helping about how much our help is needed for a healthy and beautiful Baltic Sea.http://awarehki.blogspot.fi
