This beach is considered one of the most important dive site because it includes a main jetty and its beach is used by other diving centers as the beach is suitable for all diviving activities .. so for this big number of people visiting this beach every day along with number of boats , we decided to clean that beach for 2 days a month .
We have to protect our sharks since illegal fishing is present , sharks are very important species for the eco system balance .. the presentation will be on how sharks live and how to protect them also the different types in the red sea ..
Bolton Area Divers are organising a Dive Against Debris, together with a Beach Cleanup on Easter Monday. The event is being organised by experienced divers who will be on hand to help and support on the day.
All Divers must be certified prior to the event. Buddy pairs can be organised on the day as required, so don't worry if you have no one to dive with yet! Maximum depth is 10m.
The base will be on the beach at Trefor Pier but there are likely to be several locations for the underwater Dive Against Debris and Beach Cleanups (all in the local area).

On Saturday April 18, 2015, Greenwichdiving.com - Diving Center located in the Puerto Deportivo Luis Campomanes (Altea), is organising in conjunction with the conservation organisation Project Aware, beach and sea cleaning at La Barreta beach (Altea). Last year the event was a resounding success and Greenwichdiving would like to invite all participants to join us againduring the afternoon.
