You are invited to our Annual PROJECT AWARE Clean-Up Weekend 20th & 21st September 2014. Come along and help us clean the lake and surrounding area, lots of fun for divers and non-divers, everyone can take part. There will be trade stands, Hog Roast and BBQ, massive raffle with prizes donated from our very kind suppliers including SUUNTO, Zoggs, Zone 3, TUSA, Scuba Travel and the prize list is growing daily! This is a park and shore dive cleanup at Ballast Point Park and Pier to support Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful and International Coastal Cleanup Day.
Volunteers needed for these events include:
Divers - All divers must be Open Water certified with at least 15 open water dives in their logbook. On the day of the dive cleanup, dive volunteers must submit their signed liability form (will be sent separately with Dive Plan). Diver/surface marker buoys are required for this dive event.
La laguna de Alchchica de varios kilómetros de diámetro, forma un paisaje inolvidable y muy accecible a unos metros de la carretera de San Salvador el Seco hacia Perote, en la franja limítrofe entre Veracruz y Puebla. Una laguana de la que se escuchan algunas leyendas locales y otras urbanas. Por principio se ha dicho localmente que la laguna es un brazo de mar y que no le han encontrado fondo.
