This activity is to remove abandoned fishing net which is entangled around corals at Aravind’s wall dive site. The net has already claimed significant sea life and corals, We hope to prevent further destruction and entrapment of marine life by doing this clean up.

We invite all Temple adventures students, Chennai divers club, Pondy divers club members, family, & friends who are certified divers to participate as well. For those non-divers who want to participate, they can help doing a beach cleanup or just help with documenting the rubbish that’s been collected, weigh it and dispose of rubbish responsibly.

The idea is to clean and preserves the beautiful area that we have and make our dive site a better place to enjoy while preserving the marine life.

Temple adventures will give a briefing to the divers with the knowledge they need to participate in Dive Against Debris and supervise the dives looking to reach the highest levels of safety and fun!
