We will offer a FREE Dive Against Debris Specialty class on Saturday October 3rd in our classroom. Just pay the PADI fee for the certification card. Remember, you need 5 specialty cards and 50 logged dives for Master Diver rating and this one counts.
Then on Saturday October 24th we will Dive Against Debris to clean San Solomon Springs after a very heavy summer of public use. This is in conjuction with our ProjectAWARE Pumpkin Carving fundraiser for ProjectAWARE. All proceeds will go to ProjectAWARE.
We are organsing a Dive Against Debris Specialty day to coincide with the inernational coastal clean up day. We will be doing 2 dives on Grand Anse Beach. We are also running Lionfish Eradicator coursrs that day to help with the invasive lionfish problem that we have here in Grenada. Non divers are welcome to join in with a beach clean up that is happening on the same day. Then we will all get together for a Lionfish BBQ.
Divers removing garbage from the sea, while an installation artist is compiling a work of art out of the debris. Environmental specialists are spreading information about the conditions of the Baltic Sea.
Come join us to clenup the area around the Rompeolas and Mosquito Pier. Enjoy a morning with friends and family while you help the environment. After the clenup we will have a BBQ for all participants.
Come help clean up our favorite local dive spot on Saturday, May 23! Call The Scuba Shop (480-705-927) to preregister as this is always a popular event and tanks do become scarce. We will be meeting at the dive location at 1:00 PM, briefing at 1:30 PM, and a dive window from about 1:45 to 3 PM.
