Organize: Marine Debris
Scuba Professionals, Conservation Managers and Environmental Leaders:
Cleanup leaders needed. International Cleanup Day is 25 September and we need you to organize a team of dive volunteers.
As a Project AWARE Cleanup Organizer You:
- Receive cleanup tools geared specifically to your event including data collection cards, certificates for volunteers, event organization tips and more where available.
- Commit to reporting your cleanup event data to influence change and inform policy decisions. Report data in English, German, Italian, French or Spanish
- Submit cleanup images to inspire individuals and visually describe debris issues.
Your underwater cleanup efforts with Project AWARE are significant, helping influence change one piece of debris at a time. Register your cleanup event now and receive free tools to help you get organized and make a difference in your local community.
Since 1993, Project AWARE has partnered with dive leaders like you, to be an ever-increasing part of the solution. Together, we've tackled marine debris problems underwater and along the shore. And together, we'll continue facing these challenges, motivating volunteers and pushing for concrete policy solutions.
