Please follow the link to help me raise funds for such a great cause. As divers we know how bad it can be when you come across broken bottles, entangled aquatic life, plastic bags etc. There are millions of divers around the world who know what I'm saying. All I'm asking for is $1AUS from each person and I would have smashed my part of the fundraising.
Sharks are important to marine eco-systems. They are the perfect hunters and ruling our oceans since millions of years. Join us on our next expedition "Living Evolution" to the Galapagos Islands, a real shark hotspot. Dive with hammerheads, Galapagos Sharks and several other species. Our team of Marine Biologists is guiding the tour and will give you not only interesting information about sharks and other marine species, but will also include you in scientific projects. Meet also with local scientists and visit local marine conservation projects.
4 days of Ocean information, in favor of the sharks and turtles, with help from all local organizations & the artist Carlos Hiller. Together we will try to collect money for Mision Tiburon so they can tag all the Bull Sharks at the Bat islands.
We reached a massive milestone during April’s Big Shark Shout Out and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Hundreds of supporters shouted for sharks and took AWARE's shark petition to the streets helping reach an impressive total of 100,000 signatures. These signatures give a stronger, united voice to push for trade protection for the world's most vulnerable shark species.
Finley the shark, star of Shark on Tour, was unceremoniously squeezed into my dive bag for the 40+ journey across the world from Australia to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for the PADI Course Director Training course. She arrived unscathed, and joined me and the PADI staff for a dive on the wreck of the "Patricia" just off the fringe reefs of Punta Cana. She then joined the group of candidates from the CDTC, and was formally introduced during Suzanne Pleydell's Project AWARE presentation.
