On Saturday 25 April 2015, in celebration of Earth Day, AquaMarine Diving - Bali organized a Beach Clean-up at the Batubelig beach in south west Bali with the students of the Kerobokan Sekolah Dasar (Elementary School).
40 enthusiastic pupils were eager to get to the beach to start their educational and fun day out. The event was organized with the help of Adit from Bali Eco Recycling and Wayan from the Bali Sea Turtle Association.
Beach Clean Up on Safari Beach, Nananu-i-ra. Recent storms have washed in lots of plastics and other rubbish that needs to be removed. Our team is gathering everything and making our beautiful beach spotless again!
Join Langley Diving on Saturday September 20 at White Pine Beach for what we hope will be the largest Underwater Clean-up we have ever done, and that BC has ever seen. We want 100 divers and shore support making an impact by cleaning up Sasamat Lake like never before.
Lunch is free (Les is paying), but you will be asked to make a donation to Project AWARE. Gear rentals are on a first come first served basis and they are free too (yup, with a donation to Project AWARE)!
Pure Scuba will be hosting a clean up event at the main wharf (T Wharf) in Batemans Bay on Sunday the 14th of September as part of the Project Aware Debris month of action. This years event will be held in conjunction with the Eurobodalla Shire Council Marine Debris working group. We need divers and volunteers to help on the surface as well.
We will be meeting at the store at 10 am and are planning to put divers in the water around 12 pm on the slack tide if conditions permit.
