Project AWARE Foundation is delighted with the fantastic response to our International Year of the Reef kid’s art contest. Nearly 1,400 entries were received from countries across the globe featuring stunning artwork on the theme of “Celebrate the Reef - Every Act Counts.”

A BIG Thank You to all the kids who submitted their masterpieces as well as the teachers and parents who supported them and sent us their submissions. Project AWARE staff believes that all the entries were winners and choosing finalists was a very difficult process.

Winners were chosen by Project AWARE offices in Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. Judges included marine artists Wyland and Rogest as well as Project AWARE and PADI staff.

Congratulations to the Coral Reef Ambassadors whose amazing artwork has been selected in three different age categories. Winners from across the world will be receiving special prizes as a thank you for their superhero efforts for underwater conservation.
