Protecting Western Australia's Big Blue Backyard

Did you know that less than one percent of Australia's south west coast is protected? And up to 90 percent of the species found in the region are found nowhere else on Earth?

As a member of Save Our Marine Life,  Project AWARE Foundation needs your help to secure protection for this unique area.

 Thousands of species of fish, seabirds, sharks, dolphins, turtles, seals and whales live, breed and feed in these waters.  The world's largest animal, the endangered blue whale comes to feed just offshore from Perth - one of only two places in Australia where this occurs.

Unfortunately the region is under threat.  Pollution, mining and climate change mean urgent action is needed.

Do your bit for marine life.  The Australian government is considering the future of these waters right now.
Sign the petition and tell the Australian Prime Minister or your local Federal Member of Parliament that one percent is not enough!
