Gold Coast Scuba, SOS Ocean Clean Up and the Town of LBTS will be sponsoring an underwater pier clean up. Divers and non-divers will work together to remove trash and harmful debris from under the fishing pier. This will be a great event for a great cause. LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA - Last November over 85 volunteers participated in the SOS Harvest Pier Clean-Up to help support the Project AWARE movement for a trash free ocean and environment. 300 pounds of trash was removed from under the pier and over 35 pounds from the shoreline. MORE
Join us on April 25th 2015 as we Dive Against Debris and clean up our local underwater playground. Divers should plan on arriving at Vista Point at 7:00AM and be ready to splash at 7:30 AM for the first dive.
On Saturday 25th April 2015 there is an opportunity to Dive Against Debris in the picturesque gullys of Mevagissey, Cornwall for an Underwater Litter Pick. Meeting at 11am
We will be based in the small carpark behind the harbour office. Please note, there will be no room for parking here, but parking is available in the car park on the opposite side of the harbour after unloading.
