With 16 years of experience working for both corporate and nonprofit sectors, Tiffany Leite is passionate about sustainability, leveraging brands and engaging stakeholders to help drive change. Her studies in biology, the environment, sustainable business management and nonprofit management, combined with dive training and adventures around the world have led her to an exciting career at Project AWARE. As Director of Global Operations, Tiffany leads Project AWARE’s global team in the development and implementation of overall strategy, global operations, brand and partnerships.
Associate Director, Programs
With Master’s degrees in Environmental Science and Public Affairs and 16 years of experience in marine conservation, Ania Budziak leads Project AWARE’s programmatic strategy and represents Project AWARE at national and international conservation fora. Ania drives ocean conservation science and policy underpinning Project AWARE’s two core areas: marine debris and sharks and rays. Working closely with Project AWARE’s global staff, experts and NGO as well as government partners, she uses the best available science and sound policies to fuel the Project AWARE movement.
After putting her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations to use in the world of teaching and politics, Joanne Marston yearned for more. She became a PADI Master Scuba Diver and quickly fell in love with the world of ocean conservation. Now Campaign Manager at Project AWARE, Joanne Marston has over 12 years of experience as a global project driver managing marketing, fundraising and community engagement campaigns for ocean protection. Driven by movement marketing and a passion for the latest engagement trends, Joanne helps mobilize dedicated ocean advocates to help make a positive impact for the environment.
With the opportunity to teach dive courses from beginner through to scuba instructor training as a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, Domino Albert discovered Project AWARE in the mid-1990s and developed a passion for the underwater world and ocean conservation. Now Communications Manager at Project AWARE, Domino drives the global communication strategy and spreads the word about the threats facing our ocean and how divers can make lasting environmental changes. Working closely with the Programs and Campaigns teams, she develops new and innovative ways to share complex marine conservation issues with a new and wide audience. Domino has more than 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, fundraising, leading communications and engagement campaigns, and managing organizational strategy and operations.
Manager, Asia Pacific
Michelle Davidov has lived and studied all over the globe. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management, focused in Conservation and Natural Resource Management. Michelle’s education has focused on the unique cross-section of the environment and international relations and she brings experience from both the conservation and environmental sustainability workforce. She is equipped and dedicated to work toward solutions to the many problems our ocean faces today. As Manager of Project AWARE Asia Pacific, Michelle manages local operations and fundraising to support Project AWARE’s goals and mission, while assisting to drive the overall global strategy for ocean protection.
Fundraising Specialist, CFRE
Certified Fundraising Executive, Lauren Wiskerson, puts her Business Administration Diploma, Legal, Finance, Dive Industry background and 12 years of experience managing ocean conservation programs to work for philanthropy as Project AWARE’s Fundraising Specialist. Impassioned by connecting with like-minded supporters and dedicated ocean activists around the globe, she develops and executes organizational donor strategy and leads initiatives to drive awareness and financial support to protect the ocean with Project AWARE.
Fundraising & Outreach Specialist
As Fundraising Specialist at Project AWARE, Orsi Fulop draws on six years of event management and nonprofit development expertise to help finance the organization’s ocean protection efforts. Focusing on outreach initiatives to increase awareness of the challenges facing our ocean planet, Orsi is a key player in the development and execution of Project AWARE’s annual fundraising plans and donor strategy.
Hannah Pragnell-Raasch came to Project AWARE with a Master’s Degree in Biodiversity Conservation and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology. She now puts her eight years of experience in marine conservation and research to work as Program Specialist, leading the citizen-science dimension of Project AWARE’s global marine debris program as well as ensuring Project AWARE’s work is based on sound science and research. Passionate about teaching others the importance of conserving our underwater world, Hannah engages the dive community to take action for ocean protection and enact long-term positive change for the environment.
After gaining a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering & Design, Louise Kraechter originally set her sights on a career in the automotive industry. However, a chance encounter with scuba diving set her down a whole new path. After ten years of instructing scuba and managing dive centers around the world, Louise now utilizes her teaching experience and industry expertise as Campaign Coordinator at Project AWARE. In her role, Louise acts as primary liaison with dive centers, resorts and individuals and executes outreach and engagement campaigns to mobilize divers to take action for marine conservation.
With more than 15 years of experience in accounting and office administration, customer service and problem-solving skills, Erin Kincade serves as Office Administrator for the Project AWARE team. Though her primary function is accounting, Erin also acts as many divers’ first point of contact with Project AWARE. She speaks with divers, instructors and resorts daily and helps inform Project AWARE supporters about ways to get involved in ocean protection.
After getting her Master's Degree in Translation, Stefania Di Dio wanted to try a working experience abroad. After working for a year and half at Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), Stefania is now an Administrative Assistant for Project AWARE and utilizes her fluency in English, Spanish and Italian to work with our divers. With her global perspective, language skills and passion for the underwater world, Stefania engages in a wide variety of administrative and operations functions to support Project AWARE’s growing movement of divers around the world.
Administrative Assistant, Asia Pacific
Camilla is a Veterinary Nurse with experience in customer service and administration. Having worked in the veterinary medicine industry for over 10 years, she is passionate about protecting all animals and their environment. Camilla assists the Asia Pacific office in a variety of ways and is enjoying learning more about protecting our ocean and its inhabitants.
