The team at Deep Blue Scuba in Edinburgh, Scotland are dedicated to helping conserve their local marine environment and show their support of Project AWARE as part of their commitment as Official Partners.

Through the regular cleanups they take part in as part of the Marine Conservation Society’s Adopt-a-Beach programme, they help raise awareness of issues facing the marine environment as well as raise funds to help Project AWARE further its aims.

The Adopt-a-Beach programme was set up by the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) as a coastal environmental initiative to involve local individuals, groups and communities in caring for their coastal environment. Annual or quarterly cleanups and surveys are carried out on all adopted beaches throughout the year in the fight for cleaner seas.

As part of this programme Deep Blue Scuba commit to regularly clean and survey Cramond, their locally adopted beach. In their most recently cleanup the team also took the opportunity to raise vital funds for Project AWARE. Thanks you Deep Blue Scuba.
