As part of the Go ECO Campaign Project AWARE Foundation (International) recognises all dive operators who operate in an environmentally responsible manner and promote Project AWARE philosophies to their customers through the Official Partner programme.

Ecotourism is becoming increasingly popular and it is crucial that the dive industry responds to this to ensure they are meeting standards their consumers demand. By following the AWARE Eco-Operator guidelines, dive operators can minimise their impact on our aquatic ecosystem whilst contributing to environmental, economic and cultural conservation.

The Official Partner programme helps dive centres and resorts to provide their customers with dive experiences that enhance visitor awareness, appreciation and understanding of the local aquatic environment as well as show a commitment to its conservation. All Official Partners agree to organise regular coastal/underwater cleanups and promote project AWARE philosophies by distributing Project AWARE educational materials and providing speciality courses.
